EUSR Cross Country Pipeline Health Safety Environment
The EUSR Card - Cross Country Pipelines Health, Safety and Environment (CCPHSE) awareness passport scheme has been developed in conjunction with the pipeline industry in order to provide a uniform approach to health, safety and environmental awareness training across the UK, in line with Health and Safety Executive guidelines. It is a passport scheme and does not indicate any level of technical competence or skilled expertise.
The EUSR Card - Cross Country Pipelines Health, Safety and Environment (CCPHSE) awareness passport scheme is designed for all persons involved in the construction activities of the large diameter cross country pipelines, who require access to sites, both permanent and temporary, including all levels of operatives, supervisors and management. The scheme recognises the need to ensure that both skilled and locally recruited unskilled labour operate to the same high standards of health and safety across the site. An EUSR Cross Country Pipelines Health, Safety and Environment card lasts for three years from the date of training.
The standard EUSR Card - Cross Country Pipelines Health, Safety and Environment scheme comprises of 13 modules as listed below..

EUSR Card - Cross Country Pipelines Health, Safety and Environment Transition
Holders of a valid Utility SHEA (Gas), or valid Gas Network Safety Passport (GNSP) card are not required to complete the full standard CCPHSE course. Persons who qualify under this route may complete the CCPHSE transition course as an alternative to the complete version. This is due to the amount of material that crosses over from one scheme to the other. The four modules contained within the transition course cover situations specific to cross country pipelines and are expected to take around two hours to complete.
Please note: The transition course is only available to holders of Utility SHEA (Gas) or Gas Network Safety Passport (GNSP). Trainees holding Utility SHEA (Core), Utility SHEA (Water) or Utility SHEA (Electricity) do not qualify and must complete the full CCPHSE course.
How do I get an Energy & Utility Skills Register EUSR Card?
