NEBOSH Construction Certificate

NEBOSH Construction Certificate in Health and Safety is aimed at responsible people who make day to day decisions in the construction industry. The course will provide them with a good foundation in safety management issues to ensure the health and safety implications of their decisions are properly taken into account.

The NEBOSH Construction Safety Certificate is split into 3 units:

• Unit NGC1 - Managment of Health & Safety (the first week of the General Certificate in Occupational Health & Safety).
• Unit NCC2 - Managing and Controlling Hazards in Construction Activities
• Unit NCC3 - Construction Health and Safety Practical Application.

Delegates who have already successfully completed Unit 1 of the General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety training course within the last 5 years are exempt from attending Unit 1 (NGC1), if this applies to you please contact us for a quote to attend Unit 2 and 3 only.

NCC3 - Construction Health and Safety Practical Application

The course attendee must carry out a safety inspection of a construction site and write a report. Successful completion of the NEBOSH Construction Cert in Health and Safety training course with 5 years health and safety experience leads to Technician status of IOSH (TechIOSH) accompanied by CPD. It is referenced within the Approved Code of Practice (ACOP) for CDM Regulations 2007 as a key knowledge indicator when assessing stage 1 competence for CDM Coordinators.
