I have never attended a food hygiene or food safety course before. Which course do you recommend?
ENVICO recommend that you start by attending a Level 2 training course such as the 'CIEH Level 2 Award in Food Safety in Catering' course. If your role in the workplace is more supervisory or managerial then consider attending a Level 3 course such as the 'CIEH Level 3 Award in Food Safety in Catering'. We also offer Level 4 courses for the more experienced individual such as the 'CIEH Level 4 Award in Managing Food Safety in Catering' course.
I would like to become a 'First Aider' in the workplace. Which course should I attend?
There are two options to consider. If you would like to be a 'First Aider' in the workplace then you must attend the 'First Aid At Work (HSE Approved)' course. If you would like to be an 'Appointed Person' in the workplace then you must attend the 'Emergency First Aid - Appointed Person' course. The 'First Aid At Work' course is 'Approved' by the Health & Safety Executive for administering first aid in the workplace. The 'Emergency First Aid - Appointed Person' course is recommended by the Health & Safety Executive as the minimum required standard for the workplace. The role of the 'First Aider' is to be responsible for first aid in the workplace. The role of the 'Appointed Person' is to assist the 'First Aider' in the workplace. |
