Overview
Training providers have identified a growing need to make learning more relevant to specific business environments to increase effectiveness. New qualifications are required to address new National Occupational Standards reflecting sector-specific needs. In line with this demand, the Level 2 Award in Food Safety in Catering has been designed to address the food safety needs of the catering and hospitality sector.
Certification
Successfull delegates will be issued a certificate by a nationally recognised training body: CIEH, RIPH or RSPH

- Refrigeration, chilling and cold holding
- Cooking, hot handling and reheating

- Principles of safe food storage
- Cleaning

Important Information
Successfull delegates will be issued a certificate by a nationally recognised training body such as: CIEH, RIPH or RSPH depending on the examination body used by the training centre. Certificates are issued by the examining body approximately 6 - 7 weeks after the completion date of this course.
