A Health & Safety Executive recommended, non-assessed course. This is the minimum level of First Aid training for the workplace, appropriate for low-risk environments or for those acting in the absence of a fully qualified First Aider.
Course Duration: 1-Day
Course Content:
Delegates will receive training in a range of First Aid subjects, including:
- Aims and Principles of First Aid
- Action at an Emergency
- Basic Life Support
- Management of the Unconscious Casualty
- Assessment and treatment of a casualty who is wounded, bleeding or shocked
- Assessment and treatment of fractures, dislocations and soft tissue injuries
- Assessment and treatment of burns
Important Information
Please ensure all delegates are free of any condition that will prohibit them from participating fully during the practical aspects of the course.
Course Outcome:
On completion of the course, delegates will receive a certificate of attendance to the standard of Emergency First Aid for Appointed Person. Certificates are issued approximately 2 - 4 weeks after the completion date of the course.
Please note: courses booked on weekends, which commence on the following Monday morning can not be processed due to office working hours. Courses booked after 5:30pm on an evening prior to the commencement date of the course can not be processed due to working hours.
