Overview
Modern safety management practices and their underpinning legislation, place responsibilities on all those who allocate tasks and supervise work, to ensure staff (and others) are properly protected from workplace dangers.
This programme is designed to provide those with leadership responsibilities with the knowledge and skills to integrate effective health and safety management and loss control practices into their leadership role.

Certification Exam
Each delegate is required to sit a short answer test during the course and submit a hand written practical assessment two weeks after the last day of the course. This paperwork is explained during the course by the tutor. It is the delegate’s responsibility to submit their assessment within the timescale, any assessments not returned by the deadline will result in the delegate failing the course.
Important Information
Delegates are awarded the IOSH Supervising Safely certificate on successful completion of the course. Certificates are issued by the examining body IOSH approximately 10 - 12 weeks after the last day of the course ending including exams.
