This recently launched NEBOSH Construction Certificate is aimed at responsible people who make day to day decisions in the construction industry. It provides them with a good foundation in safety management issues to ensure the health and safety implications of their decisions are properly taken into account.
This certificate is split into 3 units: Unit 1 (NGC1) is the NEBOSH Managment of Health & Safety, the first week of the National General Certificate. Unit 2 Managing and Controlling Hazards in Construction Activities and Unit 3 Construction Health and Safety Practical Application. Delegates who have already successfully completed Unit 1 of the NEBOSH General Certificate within the last 5 years are exempt from attending Unit 1 below, if this applies to you please contact us for a quote to attend Unit 2 and 3 only.

Unit 3 Construction Health and Safety Practical Application
The delegate must carry out a safety inspection of a construction site and write a report.
Successful completion of the Construction Certificate with 5 years health and safety experience leads to Technician status of IOSH (TechIOSH) acompanied by CPD. It is referenced within the Approved Code of Practice (ACOP) for CDM Regulations 2007 as a key knowledge indicator when assessing stage 1 competence for CDM Co-ordinators.
