What is the CCNSG Safety Passport Renewal Course?

The CCNSG Safety Passport Renewal course is designed to bring safety passport holders up to date with new legislation before their current passport expires. You must attend the renewal course before your current passport expiry date.

Accredited by the ECITB / CCNSG

The safety passport is accredited by the ECITB / CCNSG – Client Contractors National Safety Group. The qualification is suitable for all persons wishing to renew their existing CCNSG Safety Passport. If you are a current passport holder you may attend the renewal course up to three months before the expiry date of your current passport.

  • Update on legislation and safety practices
  • Refresher on the areas covered in the safety passport
  • Hazard spotting and job safety analysis

CCNSG Safety Passport Issue

If you are successful in completing and passing the renewal course, you will will be provided with a temporary passport or acknowledgement at the end of the training. Your temporary passport is valid for six weeks until the ECITB issue the safety passport to your home address approximately 3 weeks after the end of the course. Your new CCNSG safety passport will expire three years from the expiry date of the current passport.

Course Entry Requirements

You must hold a current and valid CCNSG Safety Passport. If you do not hold a current and valid passport you will be required to attend the full 2 day CCNSG Safety Passport. If you are attending this training you must also have a good understanding of verbal and written English language.

National Insurance Number & Photo ID

All delegates need to bring a form of photo identification in addition to their National Insurance number.
