What is the IPAF 1b Course?

This IPAF 1b course will enable delegates to prepare and safely operate various types of MEWPs categorised as 1b (static book) and to obtain an IPAF MEWP Operator Licence. Delegates should take this course to comply with the duties placed upon employers and employees by law. The International Powered Access Federation (IPAF) PAL Licence is recognised worldwide.

Who is the IPAF 1b Course Suitable For?

This IPAF 1b course is aimed at first time applicants or those looking to renew their IPAF card.

What’s Included in the IPAF 1b Course?

The IPAF 1b course trains delegates on how to operate mobile elevating work platforms (MEWPs), with reference to a static boom. People who operate MEWPs within their role, and individuals that supervise or manage the use of powered access will benefit from the IPAF 1b course. This training course will instruct an operator to safely operate various types of MEWPs including the use of a static boom. The IPAF 1b course is broken down into theory and practical sessions.

IPAF Operator. The certificate lasts for 5 years.
