Fire Marshal Training
Fire Marshal training provides individuals with essential knowledge and practical skills to oversee fire safety in the workplace. It includes fire prevention strategies, emergency procedures, and legal duties, ensuring participants are fully prepared to serve as fire marshals or fire wardens.
Who should attend
- Those who are responsible for overseeing fire safety
- Designated fire marshals
- Anyone who needs to know how to use a fire extinguisher
Delegates must be aged 16 or older to attend this course. A basic command of English (Level 2) is required. Special arrangements may be possible if requested in advance. For large groups, on-site training options are available.
Course Duration
This is a half-day course (approx. 4 hours).

- Arson
- Cost of fire damage
- Fire detection and warning
- Fire-fighting equipment (including how to use fire extinguishers)
- Fire precaution regulations
- Means of escape
- Role of the fire marshal / fire warden
Assessment & Certification
Delegates are continuously observed by the trainer during the course. Upon successful completion, participants receive a St John Ambulance certificate, valid for three years.
