Environmental Management Training for Professionals

The Level 3 Award in Environmental Management is a distance-learning course aimed at Sustainability managers and H&S advisers who also undertake the environmental role within the business, and those working on environmental and sustainability initiatives, whether it’s for CPD or recognition of skills gained through their role at work. This qualification is at the same level as the NEBOSH Environmental Management Certificate and the ISEP (previously known as IEMA) Foundation Certificate in Environmental Management, however this particular course is work evidence based, rather than exam based.

This course is made up of the following units, split across 3 easy to follow tasks:

  • Understanding global environmental issues and the concept of sustainability
  • Implementing an environmental policy & management system
  • Identifying and evaluating the business aspects and impacts
  • Understanding the structure, function and operation of environmental law
  • Understanding checking performance, monitoring and corrective action reports.

Candidates will create a portfolio of evidence through a range of methods, including submission of real work completed during your day-to-day job, a professional discussion with your assessor, and a written Q&A task. You will be working with an experienced human assessor (not online platforms or admin staff) who will be there to support you, motivate you, and guide you every step of the way until you succeed.
