Envico Limited · For procurement and L&D

One supplier, one contact, one invoice — across every site you operate.

Envico Limited has arranged workplace health, safety and compliance training for UK employers since 2003. For organisations with a continuing programme across several sites, depots or group companies, we operate as a single managed supplier: one point of contact, consolidated billing, agreed terms, and central reporting on who is certified and when it expires.

The problem a managed account solves

In most organisations of any scale, training is bought in fragments. Individual managers book what they need, when they need it, on departmental cards. Sites and depots each hold their own supplier relationships. Certification records sit in the inboxes of whoever made the booking.

The consequences are consistent: a training spend materially higher than the reported figure, no reliable answer to the question of who is currently certified, no volume terms applied to expenditure that would justify them, and a renewal programme that operates by rediscovery rather than by plan.

A managed supplier arrangement addresses the structure rather than the symptoms. The buying does not have to change — individual managers can still raise requirements — but it consolidates behind a single account, a single contact and a single set of terms.

What a managed account provides

A named account manager

One person who knows your sites, your roles and your booking history. Your team stops restating the same context with every request and receives a considered answer rather than a search result.

Consolidated invoicing

Multiple courses, sites, providers and blocks of e‑learning licences consolidated onto a single invoice. Purchase orders are accepted and carried through the quotation, the invoice and all correspondence.

Certification reporting

A central record of what your people were certified in and when that certification lapses, with notice ahead of expiry so renewals are planned into a quarter rather than identified the week a delegate is due on site.

Terms agreed once

Volume terms, payment arrangements and escalation routes agreed at account setup and applied throughout, rather than renegotiated on every booking.

Breadth without multiple suppliers

Envico works with over 300 accredited providers, so one supplier relationship covers construction, health and safety, first aid, environmental, management and compliance training across the UK.

Visibility of unrecorded spend

Where employees have been purchasing independently, Envico can report on what has been bought under your organisation’s email domain and consolidate those bookings under the account.

Supplier onboarding

Most organisations of the scale this suits will need Envico assessed and approved before an arrangement can begin. The information below is what procurement teams typically ask for, gathered in one place.

Company

Envico Limited, established January 2003, registered in England and Wales. Registered office: Armstrong House, 4–6 First Avenue, Hayfield Lane, Doncaster, South Yorkshire, DN9 3GA.

Quality management

ISO 9001 registered under certificate number 13841, demonstrating documented quality management practices subject to external audit.

Documentation

Envico completes supplier questionnaires, pre‑qualification submissions and framework documentation, and provides insurance certificates, policies and references on request.

Where a formal process applies. Envico is familiar with approved supplier list onboarding, framework agreements, tender submissions and public sector procurement requirements. Tell us which applies at the outset and we will work to your process rather than asking you to work around ours.

How an account is established

01

Initial conversation

The scale and pattern of your annual requirement, how many sites or group companies would sit under the arrangement, how training is currently purchased, and your approval and invoicing route.

02

Assessment

Envico reviews whether a managed arrangement would genuinely improve on your current position. Where it would not — and for organisations booking occasionally it frequently would not — we will say so rather than open an account for its own sake.

03

Terms and onboarding

Commercial terms agreed in writing, alongside any supplier documentation, questionnaires or framework requirements your organisation applies.

04

Account opens

A named account manager is assigned, existing bookings are consolidated where they can be identified, and reporting begins. Your people continue to raise requirements exactly as they do now.

Commercial terms

  • No account fee. Envico makes no charge for arranging training, for a quotation, or for holding an account. We are remunerated by the accredited providers with whom bookings are placed.
  • Payment in advance is standard. Envico issues an invoice which is settled ahead of the course. Purchase orders are accepted and carried through to the invoice.
  • Credit terms are not offered as standard. They are considered as part of an account agreement, following assessment, and set according to the scale and nature of the arrangement.
  • An annual rebate may form part of the agreement where the scale of the programme justifies it. A rebate is calculated on the spend actually achieved across the year and paid retrospectively, rather than applied as a standing discount. Thresholds are set individually and reviewed annually.
  • All prices are quoted exclusive of VAT. Course availability, dates and prices are confirmed with the accredited provider before any quotation is issued.
  • Everything above is subject to written agreement. Account arrangements, payment terms and any rebate are set out in writing between Envico Limited and the client, and nothing on this page constitutes an offer.

Envico is an independent intermediary, not a training provider. We do not deliver or certificate training and we hold no awarding body approvals of our own. All courses are delivered by accredited providers, and all certification is issued by those providers or by the relevant awarding body.

That independence is the commercial point. Because Envico has no courses of its own to fill, the recommendation is drawn from a catalogue of hundreds of providers on the basis of what suits the requirement — not on what happens to be running in our own centre.

Questions procurement teams ask

Are you a training provider or an agent?

An independent intermediary. Envico arranges training with accredited providers on behalf of client organisations. We are not an accredited centre, we do not deliver training and we do not issue certification. Every course is delivered and certificated by the provider, who is named on the booking.

Who is responsible for the quality of the training delivered?

The accredited provider is responsible for delivery and assessment, and the awarding body for the qualification standard. Envico is responsible for the selection, the arrangement, the commercial terms and the administration — and for acting on it if the delivery falls short. Providers are vetted before listing, including verification of accreditation directly with the awarding body, and performance is reviewed on an ongoing basis.

Do you subcontract, and does that affect our supply chain assurance?

Delivery always sits with an accredited provider, so from a supply chain perspective Envico is best understood as a managed service arranging that delivery rather than as a subcontracting chain. Where your assurance process requires visibility of the delivering organisation, we identify the provider for every booking and can supply their accreditation details.

Is there a minimum spend or contract term?

There is no minimum spend and no fixed term. Accounts are established by agreement based on the scale and pattern of the requirement, not on a threshold. Equally, an account is not the right answer for every organisation — those booking occasionally are usually better served buying as needed, and we will say so.

How is our data handled?

Delegate details are used to make and administer bookings and are shared only with the accredited provider delivering the training, which is necessary for certification to be issued. Details are not sold or passed to any other third party. Certification records are retained so that renewal reporting can be provided.

Can an arrangement cover subsidiaries or a group structure?

Yes, and it is frequently where the largest improvement is available. Where several locations or group companies purchase independently, consolidation provides a single view of expenditure and certification, and generally improved terms. It can be structured with consolidated billing to a single entity or separate billing by site, whichever suits your finance function.

What happens if a course we need has no dates scheduled?

Envico does not advertise dates that a provider has not confirmed. Where nothing suitable is scheduled, the requirement is taken to providers as evidenced demand — a specific course, region, delegate count and month. That is a considerably stronger case for scheduling than a general enquiry, and a number of currently running dates originated that way.

Discuss an arrangement

Tell us the scale and pattern of your training requirement and we will advise whether a managed account would make a material difference. There is no charge and no obligation at any stage, and if your existing arrangement already serves you well we will say so.
