Supervisors Training
The supervisor course will provide students with the knowledge required to effectively supervise on a construction site in addition to making them aware of their own responsibilities. The supervising course covers health and safety at work acts and legislation, risk assessments in all manner of construction circumstances, statistics and information relating to causes, types and numbers of construction related accidents and injuries, the health and safety legal system.
The site supervisor course will also cover elements of safety which include working at height, demolition, occupational health, fire, electricity, confined spaces and the control of contractors.
Career Progression
With respect to furthering your career and moving on to a position of site manager or project manager, a more senior safety course exists which is within the same site safety scheme and is called the 5 day SMSTS course.
